Intimacy with God and Recovery in Christ is a two-part Christian recovery and discipleship program designed to help individuals experience freedom from addiction, unhealthy patterns, and personal bondage through a growing, intimate relationship with God the Father, Jesus Christ our Savior, and the Holy Spirit our Guide and Comforter.

At the heart of this program is a simple truth: Lasting transformation comes through intimacy with God, not willpower, shame, or religious performance.

Rather than focusing solely on changing behavior, participants learn to depend upon God's grace, renew their minds through Scripture, understand their identity in Christ, and develop a personal, daily relationship with Him.

Who Can Benefit?

This program is for individuals struggling with compulsive behaviors, shame, emotional wounds, unhealthy relationships, addiction, or other forms of bondage. It is also for Christians seeking deeper intimacy with God, spiritual maturity, and healthier relationships.

Designed for individual study, one-on-one discipleship, or church-based recovery groups, the program combines biblical teaching, personal assessments, reflection questions, prayer, and practical daily exercises (intimacy experiences).

Our Mission

To help people move beyond simply managing unwanted behaviors and discover the transforming power of a personal, intimate relationship with the triune God.

When tempted, move toward God

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

When you fall, move back to God. (confess, repent, be thankful)

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

Part One establishes the spiritual foundation for healing, freedom, and transformation.

You will explore with God:

  • Personal Assessments: Recognizing unhealthy patterns, wounds, and areas of bondage .

  • Hope and Freedom: Responding to temptation by turning toward Jesus rather than relying on self-effort. When we fail, we turn back to Jesus.

  • Renewing the Mind: Understanding biblical transformation.

  • Identity in Christ: Discovering who God says we are and learning to live in our new identity.

  • Healing Addiction: Understanding deeper roots of bondage and overcoming temptations.

  • Rhythm in Recovery: Developing daily habits that strengthen intimacy with God.

  • Intimacy Experiences: Practicing brief moments of prayer, worship, Scripture, and thanksgiving throughout the day.

Part Two builds upon these foundations with practical spiritual disciplines and focused recovery studies.

You will explore:

  • Intentional Scripture Reading: Sacred reading, meditation, prayer, and contemplation.

  • Devotional Intimacy Experiences: Practicing silence, solitude, prayer, imaginative contemplation, and discerning God's guidance.

  • Sexual Bondage: Addressing pornography, sexual sin, intimacy avoidance, love addiction, and relationship dependency.

  • Marriage: Exploring God's covenant design, marital intimacy, personal assessments, and shared intimacy experiences.

  • Sexual Sin: No sexual sin is beyond the forgiveness, grace, and restoring power of Jesus.

May God bless and reward you with His presence, comfort, and healing.
